Case study · Café LOM, Bangkok

A garden café that nobody could find online.

Café LOM had Instagram, a Google Maps pin, and no website. 8 weeks after we built one, it shows up in Google for 175 different searches, ranks first for its own name, and gets recommended by Google AI Mode and Perplexity.

It owns its own name

Before the site, searching “Café LOM” returned a Maps pin and other people's photos. Now the café's own page is the first result.

Now the AI assistants recommend it too

Ask Google AI Mode and Perplexity for a café in Rama 9 and Café LOM comes back — with its own website cited as the source.

This is the part a Facebook page cannot do. When someone asks an assistant instead of typing into a search box, the assistant reads websites. A business with no site has nothing for it to read, and simply is not in the answer.

Café LOM leads the answer, and cafelom.net is the first of 27 sources Google drew on.

Café LOM is cited to cafelom.net — the hover card is reading the site’s own description straight off the page.

What we actually did

  1. Built one page that loads fast. Real photographs of the café, its real menu, its real opening hours — in Thai and English, because half the searches are in each.
  2. Put it on the café's own domain. cafelom.net belongs to Café LOM. Not a profile on someone else's platform that can change the rules.
  3. Made the address, hours, and map machine-readable, so Google can match the page to “near me” searches instead of guessing.
  4. Left it alone. No ads, no backlink campaign, no SEO consultant. The numbers above are what a well-built page does on its own.
