Sunset Park · Brooklyn · Irish Pub Since 1964
Cold pints, live Irish sessions, and a back room built for darts. Open 8am to 4am, because this corner of 4th Avenue never really closes.
The Story
Irish Haven has poured pints on this corner of 4th Avenue since 1964 — an unpretentious, lively, and familiar neighborhood pub where regulars and first-timers get treated the same. NY Daily News named it one of the Top 5 Guinness pours in New York City.
Owner Matt and the crew still run it the old way: an open-door policy on outside food, a jukebox stacked with old Irish ditties and classic rock, vintage wood decor that's never been "renovated" out of character, and a community that shows up for darts tournaments, trivia nights, and the occasional wake.

"This well-preserved and surprisingly spacious relic... stands as a proud testament to the enduring power of wit and whiskey over common sense. Come for the unscathed decor and the perfectly poured pints of Guinness."
