The Story

From El Salvador,
to Montrose.

Campesino Coffee was founded on the belief that great coffee should bring people together. Owner Geronimo Villalobos drew on his El Salvadorian heritage to create a space where craft coffee meets Latin American culinary tradition — the café de olla brewed in earthenware, the empanadas made fresh, the tamales wrapped with care.

Set in a converted house on Waugh Drive, the space has the warmth of a living room and the energy of a neighborhood gathering place. Fireplace in winter, patio in summer, always good coffee.

What We Serve

The Menu

Café de Olla

Our signature: coffee brewed with cinnamon and piloncillo in traditional earthenware. Served warm or iced — and refills are part of the experience.

From $4

Empanadas & Tamales

Handmade to order. Chicken tamale, black bean tamale, sweet guava empanada, picadillo — the full Latin American table, served fresh every day.

From $4

Horchata Latte

Cold-brew coffee with house-made horchata. One of the most-requested drinks on the Campesino menu — light, creamy, and completely its own thing.
